Lady Sharon Jordan

It was with heavy hearts that we said "Goodbye" to Lady Sharon who transitioned to Heaven on August 10, 2021. If you did not know her, this is a small overview of the spirit that she graced us with during her time at Antioch....

The personable Lady Sharon Jordan grew up in the Hebrew Baptist Church in Columbus, OH, where her parents and siblings were heavily involved in ministry and service. There, she accepted the call to discipleship at the age of 8. Since that time, she has eagerly looked forward to all that God assigned for her to do.

Over the years, she has served as a servant leader and participant in multiple ministries, as well as teaching in Sunday School. In addition, she accepted a call to preach the Gospel. She received her license from Antioch as an Associate Minister in 2008, and she followed that by being ordained as an Elder in 2013.

Lady Jordan has earned several degrees, including an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Columbus State Community College. She also earned a Bachelor of Art in Management from Malone College and a Masters in Business Administration (with a double specialization in Finance and International Business) from Ashland University. She did all of this while being a supportive and loving wife to Pastor Jordan, AND while raising a family of four children who are now grown: Larry, James, Devin, and Reva.

Her favorite Old Testament scripture is the daily reminder that keeps her striving toward excellence:

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness. -- Lamentations 3:22
Believing that God never fails us and knowing that life is full of twists and turns, she went on a mission to help others become their personal best ... no matter their circumstances. Among the fruits of that mission is the inspiring book, Living a 5-Star Life By Design, which Lady Jordan authored.
